Synergy Reef® Filter Sock Silencer is the easiest way to help reduce any splashing noise caused by the lip on the filter socks. It also catches any large debris before it gets into your socks. Used with our polypropylene felt filter socks, these provide the best solution for the quietest aquarium sock filtration. These will also fit most any 4″ and 7″ Filter socks available on the market. Simple drop in installation takes seconds.
These also feature a special threaded feature that allows you to adjust the pipe length on the silencer. This allows you to adjust the pipe length to accommodate your water level in your sock chamber. As the socks become dirty and the water level raises, you can adjust the center pipe higher.
The Synergy Reef Filter sock Silencer is made from ABS Plastic that is very durable and unbreakable. They will last for years!
