ABS Bulkhead Slip x Slip

Bulkheads are used to attach plumbing to aquariums and sumps to allow water to flow through them. These low profile reef safe bulkheads are made from black ABS plastic. Our supplier manufactures these slightly thicker than competitor aquarium bulkheads making them more reliable.

Our Bulkheads come in different sizes That the PVC Pipe will “Slip” into. The PVC Pipe will Slip into the bulkhead to make a connection. Slip fittings will require a solvent to bond the bulkhead to the plumbing permanently.

When measuring for bulkheads, you will need a hole in your tank that is slightly larger than the “C” measurement for the corresponding bulkhead but no larger than the “A” measurement. (see attached image) See bulkhead dimensions below for all the measurements.

Example: If you have a 1.33″ or 35mm diameter hole currently in your tank, then you would want to use the .75″ or 3/4″ ABS Bulkhead.

Excellent Sump at Fair Price

So I ordered a RM 34 roller mat sump that needed to be cut down to a 32”. It came in about a month and it was shipped extremely well. It took me hour to bag up all the peanuts from packaging. :) It looks amazing and while I have not installed it yet (waiting on tank) I am certain it will perform just fine! My only thought is I wish the acrylic was a little thicker but overall very happy.

Quietest overflow system!

I've been using the overflow for over a year now and am really enjoying the very low noise the box is outputting altough I am running a lot of flow through it! Surface skimmer is perfect and cleaning is very easy. Great design!

Great overflow

I installed this over flow on my 240 Gallon (2 X 2 X 8) tsunami aquarium. I have it plumbed into my Synergy Reef CL-60. Everything runs great. My only regret is not getting the option to replace the filter socks with a roller mat. I had to cut my CL-60's filter sock section to accept my roller mat.

Large and in charge

Originally purchased the 5 gallon reservoir from Synergy REEF and it was great, but only got me to mid week until I had to fill it again. This 10 gallon reservoir can keep my 168 gallon open top peninsula topped off all week.

V3 Overflow

Bought this for my new 75gal reef tank. Have yet to install but first impressions is that it is a very quality piece. Super excited to get the tank drilled and the water flowing. Ordered the bits to drill for the box as well as the return lines. Great value and shipping was very quick.

Looks great and functions great

Not much to say! Great reservoir. I have 2 pumps feeding into two different tanks from this reservoir and it’s serving its purpose, probably the best looking reservoir in the market.
